Internal Decoration to Furniture Store: Bo Concept -London

We were approached by Bo Concept to carry out decoration to three of their branches in London (Battersea, Tottenham Court Road and Finchley.

Planning was key to this project as the stores had to remain open whilst we carried out decoration in order to meet the deadline. We had to work a combination of days and nights, pending on whether the stores were busy or not and worked closely with the store Manager to achieve this.

Before the work commenced, we had to carry out a full risk assessment for health and safety, making sure that our workers and the public were not posed to any risks. Once satisfied that all protocols were covered, we proceeded with the decorating.

Work consisted of full decoration to show rooms.

Furniture had to be moved and protected with sheets. Preparation was then carried out to each section by removing wallpaper, filling and sanding walls and preparing woodwork. Once done, we then applied two coats of vinyl matt to walls.

One coat of undercoat was then applied to the woodwork followed by two coats of satinwood. After the completion of the paint work, the wallpaper was then applied to sections of the walls specified by the client.

Materials used:

  • The chosen colours were from the Farrow and Ball range.

  • Murspic Wallpaper.

  • Toupret Repair Filler.
